3Com Middle East unveils Business Network Programme
3Com Corporation has unveiled a new global technology partner programme. This programme is specifically designed to build and support a wide-array of third-party relationships with best-of-breed independent software and hardware vendors, systems integrators, service providers, consultants and the open source community.
Called the 3Com Open Network (3ComON), the programme creates unique opportunities for members to expand their market reach by developing solutions or practices that add value to 3Com's Open Services Networking (3ComOSN), voice and security platforms.
Together, 3Com and its partners will create new services and solutions that help customers manage, control and enhance their communications network infrastructure, said a senior official.
"As business requirements evolve and technology advances open new market opportunities, organisations need the ability to choose applications, which can be fully integrated into the secure, converged network to enhance performance, visibility and control," said vice-president, 3Com Technology Partner Programmes, Anna Dorcey.
"Through a collaborative, open approach, the 3ComON programme actively engages leading technology providers that offer products and services that complement the 3Com product portfolio, and when paired together, interoperate and enhance each other's business and create customer value."
3ComON is designed to provide technology providers with a wealth of resources and support programmes that facilitate the development and interoperability of their products and solutions with 3Com's technologies.
3ComON is the innovative engine that creates an ecosystem around 3Com OSN as well as the company's IP telephony and security platforms, providing tools and incentives to help members succeed.
3ComON furthers 3Com's unique approach and vision for open, interoperable solutions, best-of-breed innovation and use of open source applications to provide the customer with differentiated solutions to help manage its business.(TradeArabia News Service)
