HP hosts Next Generation IT seminar
HP Middle East held a seminar to discuss strategies towards implementing the next generation of IT for enterprise and SMB organisations across the Middle East.
The seminar, which saw engaging discussions amongst industry experts on the need for organisations to transition from high-cost IT islands to low-cost IT assets, was attended by 130 key IT and technical managers, specialists and Channel partners for HP across the Middle East.
The event was held on the back of HP's recent additions to its portfolio of server and storage management software and services to help customers save time and costs, streamline and automate the management of IT operations, and build a high-performing infrastructure.
The breakout sessions delved into several interesting topics including key strategies for agile, resilient, cost-effective IT environments; best practice tips on IT consolidation and business continuity and availability; comprehensive ILM solutions enabling organisations to capitalise on business information; and HP's Adaptive Infrastructure offerings that help lower cost of operations, improve quality of service and increase overall speed and efficiency.
"Enterprises and SMB's across the region now realise the impact of a sound IT infrastructure on overall business performance. The market is extremely robust and competitive and there is need now for organizations to embrace change more than ever before." said ESS director, HP Middle East, Fawwaz Qadan.(TradeArabia News Service)
